Umatilla Deputies Release Name of Woman Killed in Tuesday Accident

PENDLETON, Ore. - The Umatilla County Sheriff's Office says the name of the woman killed in an accident Tuesday night is 77-year-old Alberta Mary Norlen from Stanfield.

Deputies say they believe Norlen fell when getting out of her SUV and then it rolled on top of her. They ruled the death as accidental.

Oregon State Police say a woman is dead after she was run over by her SUV near Pendleton.

Police say they were called out Tuesday night to the area of Interstate 84 at Exit 193 for a woman trapped underneath a vehicle.

When police arrived they say the woman was already dead. Police say no one else was involved. Police have not released the woman's name.
