RICHLAND, Wash. -- Some great news for burger lovers - the wait is finally over!
The new Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurant opened Monday morning in Richland's Queensgate area.
The line of customers stretched out the front door for Monday's lunchtime rush.
The burger chain prides itself on fresh, never-frozen burgers, made any way you want them, and fresh-cut french fries made from northwest potatoes.
"We don't have timers, so it's all about touch, and the look, and the feel, and pre-cooking the fries. The reaction so far from customers, I've had a number of them come up and say, 'hey, good job, bang-on, that's good food, man,'" said Five Guys General Manager Jamie Linder.
The restaurant is located in Vintner Square along Queensgate Drive in Richland.
