RICHLAND, Wash. - A man from Richland is up for a Tony Award for his performance in a Broadway musical.
31-year-old Santino Fontana is up for the Tony for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical" for his role as Prince Topher in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.
He won the Drama Desk Award for "Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play" in 2010 for his performance in Brighton Beach Memoirs.
Fontana graduated from Richland High School in 2000.
