Whitman County Investigators Arrest Uniontown Man For Allegedly Trying To Poison His Wife While She Slept

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE WHITMAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE: 

Colfax, WA- Whitman County Investigators have arrested 32yoa Jacob P. Forster on charges of Attempted 1st Degree Murder.  Authorities allege that during the early morning hours of March 27th, Forster attempted to administer a poisonous substance to his wife while she slept in the couple's Uniontown, WA home.

After the victim reported the incident to the Whitman County Sheriff's Office late last week, investigators were able to develop enough information to take Forster into custody on charges of attempted murder.  Forster and his wife have been married for 6 years.  Forster is currently a Graduate Student at Washington State University.

Forster has been booked into the Whitman County Jail and is scheduled to have his first appearance in Whitman County Superior Court on Wednesday.

Investigation continues.

    GRAY, Maine - A high school varsity football coach in Maine has been dismissed after he allegedly told his players to taunt an opposing player for having two mothers as parents.  Lynn and Stephanie Eckersley-Ray say that Coach Duane Greaton told his players to taunt their son every time he was tackled last Friday by saying, "Who's your daddy?"
