Officers say the suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Brandon Hankle, went up to the victim around 7 a.m. and threatened her. She was able to run into the city hall building ahead of him.

Police later arrested the suspect who ran away to Kewaydin Park. They booked him into the Benton County Jail on a 72 hour hold for suspicion of attempted rape.
