Wind Turbine Tower Blown Down in Ellensburg

ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) - Ellensburg utility officials are investigating why a wind turbine toppled at the city's Renewable Energy Park.
    
The tower buckled Monday when 30 mph winds were blowing with gusts to 45 mph.
    
Other towers at the wind farm are being checked for structural damage.
