Police Arrest Boardman Man after Day Long Search

Posted: Updated:

HERMISTON, Or. - A Boardman man is now in the Umatilla County Jail after officers say he ran from police.

Hermiston and Boardman Police arrested 21-year-old Juan Antonio Tellez Friday morning for Menacing, criminally trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Officers had been looking for Tellez since Thursday, when they say he had been wearing a bandana while possibly carrying a firearm, standing outside a home.

Police say when they arrived at the home, Tellez and another man ran off. Officers caught the other man, but Tellez got away until the next morning.
