Dutch Bros. Coffee Donating All of Friday's Proceeds to MDA

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Dutch Brother's Coffee is donating all proceeds to the Muscular Dystrophy Association Friday.

The coffee huts co-founder, Dane Boersma passed away in 2009 from Lou Gehrig's Disease, also known as ALS. That is why their slogan is 'Drink One for Dane' to help fight the disease.

"Dane is who Dutch Bros. is and he lives on in everybody that works here and what we do. He's the model man for what we do day in and day out our customer service and giving back. So, we're just trying to follow in his foot steps and do what he lead us to do," said Nate Frary, the Kennewick Dutch Bros. Manager.

To join in, stop by the Dutch Brothers on Clearwater and Union until 5 a.m. Saturday morning. The Dutch Brothers on Columbia Center Boulevard in Kennewick and the Pasco location will be open until 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Last year, 200 locations across seven states donated more than $170,000 to the MDA Foundation.
