YAKIMA, Wash.--The City of Yakima is once again seeking your feedback.
The city council is putting together their second Citizen Survey for the year 2013. The city said they're hoping to gauge the progress they've made in improving the community's appearance, public safety and enhancing economic development.
The questions will be very similar to the ones in last year's survey.
"The input that we got from the survey last year played a huge role in formulating initiatives and formulating new programs and really driving the direction of the city this year in 2013," said Randy Beehler, Yakima's Community Relations Manager. "We expect that to be the same for next year."
The city said the new survey will be released in the next few months. They'd like to get the results back before July to give council members more time to incorporate the feedback into their budget planning for 2014.
