UPDATE: House Goes Up In Flames On Spokane's Lower South Hill; VIEW THE SLIDESHOW

SPOKANE, Wash. - On Saturday afternoon fire crews responded to a house fire on the corner of 6th and Adams on Spokane's lower South Hill. When firefighters arrived on the scene the home was fully engulfed with flames. We're being told by fire authorities that the home was vacant and being remodeled. The home had stacks of shingles and construction equipment surrounding it.

No injuries have been reported and the cause of the blaze is being investigated.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Sheriff’s deputies in Spokane Valley are searching for the driver of a hit and run. The crash happened Tuesday just before 6 p.m. on Broadway and Pines. “I saw him coming in the rearview but there was nothing I could do,” said Joshua Ludwig. “He pushed me into the car in front of me. She didn’t get a lot of damage but the front of my car did.”

    FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - A Republican lawmaker in Kentucky facing sexual assault allegations has committed suicide. Bullitt County Sheriff Donnie Tinnell says Rep. Dan Johnson shot himself Wednesday on a bridge in Mount Washington, Kentucky. Tinnell confirmed the death to WDRB-TV in Louisville.
