RICHLAND, Wash.-- The Hanford Reach Interpretive Center is launching their membership campaign and with construction now underway on the museum, the center's vision of an educational experience is in sight.

The building is funded, but membership fees will help pay for exhibits and operation costs.

Battelle secured the first corporate membership to support the center's development.

"Ongoing we need to be a member so we've stepped up. It's time now that the building is being built. We've stepped up to be a corporate philanthropy membership at $25,000," said Karen Blasdel, Battelle.

Individual memberships start at $35 and corporations range from $10,000 to $25,000.

Memberships include free admission, discounted tours and admission at over 600 museums nationwide.

Part of the money raised will go to scholarships for women and veterans.
