RICHLAND, Wash. -- Among Saturday's high school playoff games, the 4A district softball tournament. Richland is the top seed and will await the winner of Chiawana and Walla Walla. The Blue Devils will host the day's softball games. Last year Richland and Walla Walla made the state tournament. The Bombers say they feel good about where they are at.

"This year we've been pretty consistent throughout the course of the year. We had a couple of injuries early on which hurt us. We lost a couple of games that may have had an impact on that with the injury situation. We're about as healthy as we've been all year toward the tail end of this year. Momentum wise that is a mind set the coaches and players have that we're healthy. Hopefully we're going to play the best we can," Richland softball head coach Casey Emery said.
