New Wine Center In Prosser To Host Big Summer Event

Posted: Updated:

PROSSER, Wash.- The Prosser Wine and Food Fair is a big event that will draw nearly 2,000 wine enthusiasts this summer. The Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center will play host to the big event.

The pavilion has been open since this winter, but the new center is currently under construction. That won't get in the way of the fair; wineries from the area will set up tents around the pavilion and visitors will be able to sample some of the best wines Washington has to offer. The coordinators hope the fair will kick start a regular flow of tourists stopping by the new center.

"It'll be a new experience for people to visit any time that they come because we'll be changing our programming and the wines that we're offering on a regular basis, so there will be lots of reasons to come back and see what's going on," said Abbey Cameron, the Marketing and Events Coordinator at the center.

Two live bands will entertain guests all day, and for beer drinkers, two local breweries and food vendors will also be set up.

Tickets are already available here: www.tourprosser.com
