Moses Lake Man Wearing Helmet, Dies in Motorcycle Crash
MOSES LAKE, Wash. - Grant County Sheriff Deputies say a man from Moses Lake had been wearing his helmet when he died in a motorcycle crash.
Deputies say 28-year-old Jonathan Jones was driving a 1983 Honda Nighthawk on 22nd Avenue in Moses Lake on Monday when he lost control, hit a curb, and flew off his motorcycle into a concrete block on the side of the road.
Deputies say emergency responders and bystanders tried to save him, but Jones was unconscious and unresponsive. Deputies say his injuries were too severe, and he died a short time later at the hospital.
The Grant County Motor Traffic Unit in still investigating what may have caused the crash.
