Crime Tracker: High Speed Chase And North Spokane Robbery Overnight

Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies had a busy night investigating a North Spokane McDonald's robbery and chasing down three teenagers in a high-speed chase in Spokane Valley.

Deputies spent the night looking for the robber who broke into the McDonald's on Francis and Monroe.  The Sheriff's Office says the  man broke into the restaurant through a window and held an employee at gunpoint.  Deputy Craig Chamberlain says the only description they received is that the robber is a white male.  As of 7 AM Wednesday morning, Deputy Craig says the suspect is still on the loose.

Also, a chase at 3 AM in Spokane Valley landed a teenager in jail.  The Sheriff's Office says the teen was with two teenage friends inside a parent's vehicle driving recklessly.  The Sheriff's Office says the teen tried to run vehicles off of the road and even threatened a pedestrian.  Deputies tried to chase down the suspect starting near Mullan and Mission.  The chase reached speeds up to one hundred miles an hour.  They eventually caught up with the suspects in the Spokane Business Industrial Park and arrested the driver, who now faces multiple felony charges. The other two teenagers were released to their parents.
