ELLENSBURG, Wash. -- The recount results are in for the Ellensburg School bond vote and they don't look promising.
The results didn't change at all, the bond still failed by just one tenth of a percentage point.
A supermajority of 60% was required for the bond to pass, and the bond only received 59.89%.
ELLENSBURG, Wash.-- The recount is on for Ellensburg's Middle School bond vote. The Kittitas County canvassing board is recounting all 6,800 ballots Thursday. The bond failed by just one tenth of a percentage point last week, prompting some community members to call for the recount. The Kittitas County Auditor says they should be done counting sometime Thursday night, so tune in at 11pm for the results.
