KHQ.COM - The American Red Cross has advised the best way you can help the people of Moore, Oklahoma is by donating.

You can do so by clicking HERE, or by texting REDCROSS to 90999. That text will donate $10 to the American Red Cross and the money will be used for disaster relief in Moore.

Tonight KHQ learned that Spokane's local Red Cross will also be assisting with relief efforts in Oklahoma.

One Local Volunteer will be flying to Oklahoma City as the Red Cross works to get phones and communication back up in the area.

Megan Snow with the Red Cross tells us they expect to send more volunteers to the tornado ravaged area near Moore, Oklahoma.

Because we are so early into this disaster there is more assessment needed before they know exactly what they will need down there.

The defense disagreed saying that Arteaga was not there when she died and they think she may have even died of suicideMore >>
