YAKIMA, Wash.-- A Yakima County judge has thrown out criminal charges against Union Gap's former mayor.

A judge dismissed reckless driving charges against Jim Lemon due to a lack of evidence.

A Union Gap city employee accused Lemon of injuring him when he drove off and sprayed gravel into the employee's face.

Police say the men had been arguing prior to the incident.
