Photos Capture Woman Giving Birth In Front Of Hospital!

Posted: Updated:

NBCNEWS.COM - When Boca Raton, Fla. mom Amy Beth Cavaretta went into labor with her second child Thursday night, she called her midwife and rushed to the hospital.

Cavaretta was just about to make it through the front doors when baby Sienna Grace revealed she had other plans: "The baby's coming!" Cavaretta exclaimed as Miami-based birth photographer Emily Robinson captured her leaning against a column.

She was correct, and right there in a wheelchair as Cavaretta's midwife Laurie Ross-Berke assisted, healthy little Sienna Grace made her debut.

Amy and her husband, Joe, are photojournalists for the Florida Sun-Sentinel. "I've been covering the Miami Heat for the paper," Joe told Natalie Morales on TODAY Monday, "and when we drove up I saw the LeBron James of midwives waiting for us...I knew we were all right."

"I was in good hands," Amy said. "I had the right people there to help."
