UPDATE: Deadly Motorcycle Crash On Hwy. 195, Just 2 Miles South Of Spokane City Limits

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Washington State Patrol has identified the motorcycle rider that was killed after crashing on Highway 195 Monday afternoon as 62-year-old Jimmie Parker of Spokane Valley.
Troopers say Parker was riding his Harley-Davidson northbound on Highway 195 about 2 miles south of Spokane when he left the road and struck a tree. The collision sent Parker flying. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
UPDATE: The Washington State Patrol has confirmed with KHQ that the person on the motorcycle that crashed on Hwy. 195 has died. He's identified only as a 62-year-old male from Spokane Valley. WSP says that the man was riding his motorcycle northbound on Hwy. 195 when he veered into the left shoulder. WSP troopers say the man lost control and crashed into some rocks that were on the side of the road. Right now it doesn't appear that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash. At this hour we're awaiting the identity of the person killed as the investigation continues.
