ALBANY, Ore. - Classmates of an Oregon teenager accused of planning to blow up his school say the 17-year-old had discussed bomb-making, but did not mention a plot to inflict damage. A West Albany High School student says that Grant Acord discussed bomb-making materials with him in class a couple weeks ago. The student says he didn't think much of the conversation because Acord is "kind of strange kid," and would therefore have strange hobbies. Prosecutor John Haroldson says Acord is being charged as an adult with attempted aggravated murder. Classes will resume as scheduled Tuesday, the day Acord makes his first court appearance. The boy's parents have not made a public statement. It's unknown if they hired a lawyer or will have a public defender represent their son.
