No Deaths or Injuries in Pasco House Fire

PASCO, Wash. - Firefighters say a Pasco family is dealing with major damage to their home after a fire over the weekend.

Firefighters responded to the home on the 8300 block of Lummi Drive, near Valdez Lane, around 3 AM on Sunday, when a passerby called and alerted them.

Pasco Firefighters say that person was also able to get the people living there safely outside of the home.

Firefighters say they believe ashes or coal in an outdoor garbage can caught fire, spread to the side of the home, and then fully engulfed the roof and the attic.

Firefighters say there were no deaths, injuries or lost pets in the fire, but the house did have major damage.
