Central Washington State Fair Entertainment Line Up Announced

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- The entertainment line-up is out for this year's Central Washington State Fair.

Styx, The Plain White T's, Kutless, and Riders in the Sky are just some of the bands that will play in Yakima this September.

The fair says it takes a full year to confirm all the acts and they're still planning to add more.

They spend about a half-million dollars every year bringing in entertainment.

"Trying to find out what appeals to people in Yakima and you never know until the day of the show," said Fair President Greg Stewart.

One event you won't see at the fair this year is the rodeo because fair planners say they were getting too expensive.

Tickets to the concerts will go on sale this Friday.

You can buy them at the ticket office at the fairgrounds or on the fair's website.
