SPOKANE, Wash. - A Spokane woman who was run over by a cyclist last month on the Centennial Trail has filed a lawsuit against the man she says didn’t even try to avoid smashing into her. On Sept. 22, 67-year-old Virginia Pearsall was walking near Kendall Yards with her sister when she heard someone behind her yell, “Hot pizza!” "I felt like I got hit by a truck," said Pearsall. "The impact was so great, it was unbelievable."

SPOKANE, Wash. - Blessings Under the Bridge is in a new spot, and it’s directly across the street from their previous gathering place. “We did not ask to be moved,” said Founder Jessica Kovac. “We want to stay.” But Kovac didn’t have a choice. Two months ago, Blessings Under the Bridge was told by the City of Spokane to move. Communication and Marketing Director for the city, Brian Coddington, says the decision came down to a liability issue.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - It’s empty, but it’s peaceful even on a cloudy, rainy day. “Coeur d'Alene doesn't have an arboretum and this one would have all native trees,” Jocelyn Babcock said. Veteran’s Memorial Park sits at the top of Fernan Hill over looking much of Coeur d’Alene. The vast emptiness is something Panhandle Parks Foundation Executive Director, Jocelyn Babcock, says could use some TLC.
