EATONVILLE, Wash. - Firefighters say a small plane from Oregon crashed into a home south of Seattle, resulting in minor injuries.
Firefighters say they don't know exactly where the plane departed from, but they say the pilot and passenger had been heading to a conference in Washington and ran into rough weather over Eatonville.
Firefighters say the men decided to land at a local airport, but instead the Cessna 172 landed in the yard of a home, and skidded into the front of the empty house.
The two men were able to escape with only minor injuries.
The fire chief says the house did have minor damage.
Eatonville police and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.
