KHQ.COM - A person who was getting off the bus in the area of Cleveland & Division was hit by a bicyclist. The person who was hit was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It happened on Monday morning. It's not clear if the bicyclist will be cited.

    SEATTLE (AP) - Seattle's ban on plastic straws and utensils goes into effect next month as part of the city's efforts to push business to use recyclable or compostable food service items.    KING-TV reports businesses that sell food or drinks will not be allowed to offer the plastic items starting in July.    The ban is part of a 2008 city ordinance requiring recyclable or compostable food service items.     BRUSSELS - The European Union will start imposing duties on a list of U.S. products as of Friday in response to President Donald Trump's decision to slap tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from Europe. The 28-nation EU was first expected to do so only next month but EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom said they would introduce "rebalancing" tariffs on about 2.8 billion euros' ($3.4 billion) worth of U.S. products this week.
