KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Another athletic director will leave the Mid-Columbia Conference. Southridge High School A.D. Ken Murray will transition out of Tri-Cities to be the next Ephrata Middle School principal. Murray is going back to his hometown of Ephrata. That makes three out of eight schools in the MCC that need to replace athletic directors. But Murray is the only one moving into a principal position.

"It's a little scary, but it's exciting at the same time. The opportunity to go back to my hometown is one I just couldn't pass up. The opportunity to be a building principal and be able to return to my roots and also be able to guide and direct people not only in athletics and activities, but also to be an educational leader is something I've always dreamed about. The people I've tried to glean knowledge from have made me the administration and person I am today," Murray said.
