Get To Know The KHQ Family! This Week...Take A Look At Sunshine Shelly Monahan Through The Years!
KHQ.COM - For the next couple of weeks we are going to be featuring members of the KHQ family through slideshows! This week we are sharing some photos of our very own Sunshine Shelly Monahan!
Shelly Monahan: I was born at Deaconess Hospital April 2, 1959. I am the oldest of eight children, four boys and four girls! I have always loved animals, growing up on a farm in Springdale and then Chattaroy...I've always had horses! For all of you that have been so loving and supportive over the years from the Sunshine Shelly days at KJRB to today at KHQ. When I was beaten and raped and left in a field outside KJRB it was YOUR love and support that got me through it.
When Kim was killed in an avalanche in 1986 right before we were to be married......YOU again were there. To my ex, Michael, thank you for seventeen incredible years and our two beautiful daughters, Makenzie and Taylor. To Patricia McRae, our GM and President at KHQ and to our former GM, Lon Lee.....thank you for letting me come home thirteen years ago! I am so blessed. To Steve, my husband, and father to our four children......words will never express the joy and love you have given me.
At the end of the day, it's about family. To each and every one of YOU that support KHQ the way you do......Thank You simply isn't enough. By the way....when YOU come up to me in the store, at Big R, and always say "Didn't you used to be Sunshine Shelly?".........it absolutely makes my day!!! I'm still "her"......just an older model!!!
