Search Continues for Cody Haynes

KITTITAS, Wash.-- A Special Operations K-9 Forensics Team will continue their search efforts for Cody Haynes.
The team's "Cadaver Dogs" uncovered several small bones on Monday along the 1500 Block of Stevens Road in Ellensburg. The team originally thought they could belong to Cody, who's been missing since 2004.
However, the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office said these bones belong to an animal, but the forensics team tells us they won't get discouraged.
"Our goal is just to find Cody that's it," said Wendy Kessinger, a member of the Special Operations K-9 Forensics Team. "We just want everyone to participate, to stop fighting us, help us."
The team said they're searching several other areas of high interest, and they're also back out along Stevens Road. The team said there's probable cause that Cody's remains could be in that area.
