Scantling Hearing Pushed to June 26th

KENNEWICK, Wash., -- Attorneys want more time to discuss the case details of a man accused of murdering his former fiancé's roommate.

Grant Scantling stood before a judge Tuesday morning at Benton County court.  Attorneys are unsure if they'll be ready to go by the trial's current start date of July 22nd.

Kennewick Police say the 41-year-old shot and killed 24-year-old Franklin Palmer; a man living with his former fiancé, Ann Krebs.  Scantling and Krebs have two children together.

Scantling is now scheduled to appear in court again on June 26th.
