Sentencing for Benton City Mother Pushed to June 14th

KENNEWICK, Wash., -- A Benton City mother who pled guilty to second degree manslaughter in early May will have to wait one more week for sentencing.

A Benton County judge pushed a sentencing hearing scheduled for this morning to June 14th.

Prosecutors say in November Wendi Finkbeiner-Setzer left her two toddlers in a bath tub alone.  While she was away, her 1-year-old daughter, Piper, drowned.

Finkbeiner-Setzer did not appear in court this Thursday morning.

Prosecutors are recommending at least one year of jail time.
