KENNEWICK, Wash. - A Kennewick man is in jail, accused of attempting to assault another man with a gun, leading police to find a marijuana grow room in the process.

It happened Wednesday in the 8200 block of West Deschutes Ave. in Kennewick.

Police say Michael Troidl, 27 of Richland, and Anthony J. Savino, 27 of Kennewick, were arguing over a boat when Savino pulled a gun from his waist. Troidl captured a picture of the incident before Savino left the scene in a car.

After arresting Savino, the Kennewick Police Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) executed a search warrant of Savino's home and found a .45 caliber handgun and an assault rifle. CAT also discovered five pounds of prepackaged marijuana and a grow room in the home's basement. Police say Savino did not have a valid marijuana card.

He was booked for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to deliver marijuana and Felon in Possession of a firearm. The prosecutor is reviewing the assault case.
