Yakima Police Arrest Eight Men for Patronizing Prostitute

YAKIMA, Wash. - Yakima Police say prosecutors have now formally charged the first round of people who officers arrested during emphasis patrols. 

Police have arrested eight men for patronizing a prostitute: Edgar Benitez-Zamora, Steven Charles, Thad Honsinger, James Maxwell, Charles Noe, Gary Robillard, Hector Salgado, and Gordon Stallings. 

The Yakima Police Department has been conducting emphasis patrols on North 1st Street as part of the effort to get rid of criminal activity. 

During those patrols, officers say they have worked a variety of details including prostitution stings. 

Police say they plan to release the names of the people they arrest as prosecutors formally charged them with the crime of "offer and agree".
