PASCO, Wash. -- The MLB draft is in the rear view mirror. Now local fans can set their sights to minor league baseball. Monday the newest Tri-City Dust Devils arrived and took the Gesa Stadium field for their first practice. There are many new faces on the Dust Devils, including manager Drew Saylor. The Rockies organization promoted him from Grand Rapids. Twelve players make the jump with him.
"We're very excited. I'm really optimistic about our pitching. We got Jayson Aquino who is our number seven prospect in the organization, left-handed pitcher, has a great feel for the game, good change up. We got some real good guys coming in offensively, we got Ben Waldrip, and a guy I'm really excited about Wilfredo Rodriguez. We got some really good guys coming up here to the Tri-Cities. A lot of guys I had last year, in Grand Junction with our playoff team we had last year. So I'm very very excited to get these guys again," Saylor said.
