Memorial Hospital Receives $200,000 Diabetes Program Grant

YAKIMA, Wash.-- Yakima Memorial Hospital's Diabetes Program is getting a 200-thousand dollar grant from the State Attorney General's Office.

The money will go toward establishing a Center for Diabetes Prevention in Yakima County, which will include new exercise and vascular monitoring equipment.

The money is part of a consumer protection settlement between the attorney general and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals.
