Albertsons Robbed On N. Nevada; Look At Surveillance Photos

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE SPOKANE POLICE DEPT: On Wednesday at about 9:30 am Spokane Police officers responded to a robbery at the 6520 N Nevada, Albertsons. The suspect walked into the business and confronted an employee at the Customer Service counter.

The suspect had his hand in a black, leather satchel-type bag and stated he had a gun. The suspect ran from the business with an undisclosed amount of cash. A K9 track for the suspect was attempted but he was not located. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:

  • White male
  • thin build
  • approximately 40 years of age
  • approximately 6' tall
  • wearing blue jeans, a light grey hooded sweatshirt, blue/navy baseball hat with shoulder length light colored hair
  • This man is believed to be the same suspect who robbed the Java Hut Espresso Stand earlier this week

It all began after a man came out of the McKenzie River Pizza to find someone trying to steal his car. The owner of the car tried to stop the thief, and the thief actually pepper sprayed him. A Sheriff's deputy showed up and somehow the thief ended up stealing the deputy's car.More >>
