Weekend Weather Update: Let's Scrounge Up One More Warm Day

Overnight: Partly cloudy with a passing overnight to early morning shower (also called nocturnal showers)

Monday:  After a little morning cloud cover left over from a weakening band of showers, it should turn into a zesty, mostly sunny to partly cloudy day. Nocturnal (nighttime) showers & a few t-storms are forecast to pass through the area, but with a slight increase in coverage…Low/High 58°/81° (GREEN)

FYI: The golf courses will be getting watered by Mother Nature for the following several days

    IRVINE, Calif. - Taco Bell is testing a new service that allows users of the ride-sharing app Lyft to add a Taco Bell stop to their ride with the click of a button. The companies have announced "Taco Mode," an option for Lyft app users. Taco Bell says Lyft users who select Taco Mode get a custom menu, a taco-themed car and a free taco when they make their "ride-thru" stop at a nearby Taco Bell.

    WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump's new communications director says he's prepared to clean house in order to stop information leaks.      Anthony Scaramucci, the financier tapped for the role last week, said Tuesday that he was prepared to "fire everybody" to prevent leaks. Speaking to reporters, Scaramucci said that he was "not doing an investigation. I'm just going to get the leaking to stop."

    CHICAGO - Research on 202 former football players found evidence of a brain disease in nearly all of them, from athletes in the NFL down to high school. It's the biggest update on chronic traumatic encephalopathy (ehn-sehf-uh-LAH'-puh-thee), or CTE. The disease has been linked to repeated head blows and the results confirm that it can happen even in young players.
