Yakima Police Look for Suspects in Home Invasion Robbery

YAKIMA, Wash.--Yakima Police are searching for two suspects who severely injured a 25-year-old man during a home invasion robbery.

Police say around 9:30 Saturday morning, two young men knocked on the door of a house along the 900 Block of North 16th Avenue. When the victim opened the door, the suspects rushed him, tied him up and stuffed valuables into their backpacks.

Police say the victim was also struck several times in the head with what is believed to be a tire iron.

The suspects then took off, and the victim was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Here's a description of the suspects:

Suspect #1: White male, approx. 25 years of age. Pale complexion with sandy blond hair. He had an ACE bandage or cast on his right forearm.

Suspect #2: Light skinned black male, also approx. 25 years old.
