UK man convicted of hate crime for Nazi-salute dog video
LONDON (AP) - A Scottish man who filmed a dog appearing to give Nazi salutes has been convicted of a hate crime and fined. Mark Meechan filmed his girlfriend's pug responding to phrases such as "sieg heil" by raising its paw, and posted the footage on YouTube in 2016. Meechan said the stunt was meant as a joke, but he was convicted last month of posting "grossly offensive" material.

BRENTWOOD, Tennessee - We now know the suspect in the deadly waffle house shooting was pursued by police a few days earlier. Police in Brentwood, Tennessee released this dash cam video Monday showing the pursuit of a stolen vehicle from a BMW dealership on April 17th. Police believe that suspect is Travis Reinking, the suspected gunman in Sunday's Waffle House mass shooting in Antioch.

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say multiple stabbings during a home-invasion robbery in Yakima left two suspects dead and three residents wounded over the weekend. The Yakima Herald-Republic reports the break-in occurred before 4 a.m. Sunday. Police say two men, identified by Yakima County Coroner Jack Hawkins as being in their 20s or 30s, forced their way inside, and a fight broke out between them and the family members who live there.

Authorities announced that 29-year-old Travis Reinking, was taken into custody Monday. Other details were not immediately available.
