Suspects Kidnap and Rob Man from Legends Casino Parking Lot

YAKIMA, Wash.--A man and woman face charges of kidnapping and robbery from an incident early Tuesday morning.

According to court documents, 45-year-old Richard Bowers and 24-year-old Jolene Merry kidnapped a man from the Legends Casino parking lot at knife point. They drove the victim to Meyers Road and Chambers Road where they made him strip down and hand over his possessions.

Court records show the victim managed to escape and went back to the casino with police. The suspects were arrested when they returned to try and steal the victim's vehicle.

Their bail is set at $500,000 each.
