Rain Doesn't Stop Crowds at Hogs and Dogs

WEST RICHLAND, Wash

Thursday's rain showers didn't keep the crowds from enjoying the 13th Annual Hogs and Dogs event.

Bombing Range Park in West Richland was filled with thousands of people and motorcycles. Event-goers were able to check out the bikes up close, while listening to live music and eating a hot dog. While admission was free, organizers say the money made from food and raffles will support other community events.

"The money that we raise goes to helping out the time of remembrance, the veterans parade, and just some general things the chamber does to help businesses we support as well," said organizer Delt Clark.

Organizers say they usually see around 4,000 motorcycles at Hogs and Dogs, but that number may have been a little smaller this year because of the June gloom.
