Kamiah Man Killed By Falling Tree

Idaho County Sheriff's Office Press Release

64 year old Robert Baloga of Kamiah killed by a falling tree.

At 12:30 p.m. yesterday, the Idaho County Sheriff's Office was advised of a woodcutting fatality approximately 5.5 miles southeast of the Glenwood Rd and Maggie's Butte intersection.

Idaho County Deputies Tom Remington and Jon Tibbetts, responded to the location and determined the victim had been killed by a falling tree. Baloga was alone at the time of the accident.

The victim's family has been notified and Trenery's Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
