Autopsy Results Similar for Two Separate Toppenish Homicides

Posted: Updated:

TOPPENISH, Wash. - The Yakima County Coroner says separate autopsy results show two men both died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head in difference incidents.

Yakima County Sheriff Deputies say Tribal Police found the body of 23-year-old Alberto Gabriel Martinez in the trunk of his girlfriend's car in Toppenish on Friday, but deputies say she isn't a suspect.

Deputies have arrested 20-year-old Guillermina Sanchez-Cardenas of Sunnyside, and her boyfriend, 22-year-old Elliot White of Toppenish. They're both in jail on $1 million bonds, facing second degree murder charges.

In what Deputies are calling an unrelated homicide, the coroner says 20-year-old Pedro Marquez-Villa of Whatcom County also died from gunshots to his head.

Marquez-Villa was found Saturday just outside Toppenish city limits. Deputies say they are still looking for suspects in this case.

If you have any information about either shooting, contact the Sheriff's Office.
