Chiefs Announce Preseason Schedule

The Spokane Chiefs will play seven pre-season games over three weeks in advance of the 2013-14 WHL Regular Season.

Spokane will play in the Everett Silvertips Holiday Inn Preseason Classic on Friday, August 30th versus Portland, Saturday, August 31st versus Everett and Sunday, September 1st versus Seattle.

The Chiefs will then play in the Tri-City Americans Red Lion Hotels Pre-Season Tournament the following weekend with games on Friday, September 6th against Kootenay and Saturday, September 7th against Tri-City in Kennewick.

The schedule will finish with a home-and-home series versus the Americans on Wednesday, September 11th at a location to be determined and Saturday, September 14th in Kennewick.

The Chiefs' 72 game 2013-14 Regular Season schedule will be released on Wednesday, June 26th.

    The Spokane Chiefs announced on Friday the team names for their 2017 training camp, which begins on Thursday, August 24 at Spokane Arena. This year’s teams will be Team Johnson, Team Sawyer and Team Ryan.

    Baird spent the last 10 seasons as the team’s video coordinator, analyzing coaches’ video and advanced statistics. A Spokane native and Lakeside High School graduate, he was originally hired on by the Chiefs midway through the 2006-07 campaign.
