FIRST ON KHQ.COM: Man Tased After Throwing Bike At Officer

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Liberty Lake Police spotted a man on a bicycle driving with and against traffic on a busy Barker road just before the lunch hour. Police arrested 25-year-old Daniel Taylor after he crashed the bike at the intersection of Cataldo and Barker and threw his bicycle at the police officer.

Taylor is well known to law enforcement. He was driving in and out of traffic and then crashed his bicycle after police used sirens and their air horn trying to get him to stop. After throwing the bicycle at the officer, Taylor threw the bicycle off the road. Once he was off the road the officer deployed his taser. Police transported Taylor to the Spokane County Jail.

The incident took place right next to the Liberty Lake, Spokane Valley city lines.
