KHQ.COM - It's throwback Thursday! Today we want to share some photos of KHQ's Kalae Chock through the years.

Kalae's Story:

Kalae was born in Spokane, the City where her parents met in the late 70s. Her dad, Henry, was here to go to school and play football with friends from Hawaii. Her mom, Jan, moved to the "big city" from rural Three Forks, Montana. Her parents raised her and her older sister, Kili, in Spokane, Hawaii and Oregon before settling in Federal Way, Washington in 1990.

Kalae met her husband, Robby, at Washington State University in 2000. She worked her first two years in the news business in Montana and moved to Spokane in 2005. The plan: to spend two years in the Inland Northwest before landing a news anchor job in Seattle. But almost 10 years and 2 kids later, plans have changed.

Kalae and Robby have fallen in love with the easy lifestyle Spokane has to offer her kids, true friends they've met along the way and a news station that allows Kalae to cover stories that matter to her and to viewers.
