KENNEWICK, Wash. - A Kennewick man is facing charges, accused of assaulting his girlfriend's son.
On Monday the four-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with two broken bones in his leg. Due to the nature of the injury, Kennewick police began investigating and later arrested 31-year-old Geovani Nevajas Ledezma. Police say Ledezma was watching the boy at a home along the 1100 block of W. 10th Ave. when the injuries happened.
Ledezma is in the Benton County Corrections Center and is facing 2nd degree assault charges.
