YAKIMA, Wash. - After five years Yakima Craft Brewing Company is only getting bigger and better.
The brewery recently purchased new equipment, giving them the ability to spread their name and beer all over the region.
The president of Yakima Craft says several breweries are expected to open in central Washington, and with Yakima Craft's expansion, he says the valley's reputation as a producer of quality beer can only improve.
"About 40 percent larger so for us what that means is doing the same thing we were doing before, making the same beer just much more of it and being able to get it and the word about Yakima out to a larger audience," said President Jeff Winn.
This Saturday Yakima Craft Brewing Company is celebrating their fifth anniversary with a brewfest. Seven breweries from all over the state will be on hand to pour you a glass. All proceeds benefit allied arts.
