YAKIMA, Wash.-- The last standing business in Track 29 is moving, but not that far.
Russillo's Pizza and Gelato is leaving its home of the past five years, and moving across the train tracks to the Depot Restaurant.
Russillo's bought the empty restaurant and is remodeling it to be even bigger and better than it was before.
The owner of Russillo's says he is excited about the move, but is upset that they are tearing down a downtown landmark.
"There is a local attorney who decided he wants to rip down Track 29, and all the local businesses in Track 29 will have been removed, and it will be destroyed and turned into a parking lot," said Russillo's owner, Lonnie Davis.
Davis said he thinks the move will bring in more business for his restaurant because the new location will have more room for banquets and parties.
He also thinks it will be a great addition to downtown Front Street.
The new restaurant will be brand new, but will still have some of the old charm of the train depot including the original brick walls and the high ceilings.
Russillo's expects to open the new location before August 1st.
