TIETON, Wash.-- Today
was a first for the town of Tieton.
The first annual Tieton Mini Maker's
Faire took place at the Mighty Tieton Warehouse.
The fair showcases local makers,
crafters and performers, doing things like porcelain making, letter pressing,
even go-kart building.
The event is meant to help people
learn more about these local artists and how to get involved with the maker
"It's a gathering of people who
come together to show off what they make and share that passion, and show other
people how to make things too," Sylvia Imbrock, Director of Tieton Arts
and Humanities, said.
This was the first fair at
the warehouse, but organizers tell us it will be an annual event happening last
weekend in June.
